Kars is an action based, material-inspired multidisciplinary artist/performer who enjoys running furiously, far away from technique into the queer ether of self-taught delusion. In collaboration with LMP and Queer Croydon, this work searches for queer freedom, joy and resilience by disrupting the heat of expectations.

Nene is a performer who enjoys moving alongside all the contexts…easy ones, salty ones & joyful ones. They are an artist and producer, & have created performances with/for schools, theatres, festivals, cabarets, club kids, friends, and for their own enjoyment. 

 

Their work explores the relationship between their body and the overwhelming structures we preserve around us. With energy, intimacy, and politics they aim to create transformative spaces which blend anarchy and tenderness, prioritising their own personal expression and freedom.

A Queer Croydon Cabaret

A Queer Croydon Cabaret hosted by Shepherd’s Bush. A Drag Sheep exploring what it means to be human and all of the quirks and eccentricities that go with it. Shepherd’s Bush is the alter ego of queer transgender woman Claudia Coelho. Claudia is co-founder of LGBT+ Safe space Their Majesties and manages Queer Croydon, a network that amplifies queerness in the borough and beyond.

Merlin the Grey is a proud Bisexual Trans man, born and raised in Croydon. He is an international, award-winning Boylesque performer who captivates audiences with his alternative style and Adam Lambert-like charm. Merlin wears his surgery scars with pride, celebrating the beauty of trans bodies and proving that curvy boys are just as sexy! He is also one of the co-hosts of Their Majesties, Croydon’s only free queer performance cabaret and LGBT+ safe space.

South London-based artist Sabiyha is putting humanity to the forefront of their music as they explore and expose the most vulnerable and empowering parts of themselves. Weaving reality through their music, Sabiyha navigates themes of sex, queerness, trauma, sisterhood, and mental health on their debut EP 'Sheerkhan' which is out now. 

 

When it comes to inspiration, Sabiyha turns to the cultures and communities closest to their as a queer, POC person. Motivated by their mother’s story of ambition, the British-Guyanese artist has adorned their latest project with lyrics and textures that honour their roots. From family voice notes to Bangla-style beats, Sabiyha has ensured their history, identity, and individuality are more than present in their work.

 

With their previous singles having gathered support from the likes of The Guardian, Gay Times, NOTION, Gal-Dem, NME, The Line Of Best Fit, Nadine Shah, Jess Iszatt, and BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, Sabiyha is ready to set bigger, bolder plans in 2025.”

An0maly is a Trans Pole Artist & Creative Producer from London. He spins around the intersections of race, gender, pleasure and difference. He uses movement, soundbites and sensual/athletic pole tricks which offer experimental conversations around reclaiming your body. His credits include: Somerset House, Shoreditch Town Hall, Clapham Grand Theatre, Manchester Pride & PoleCon International, Maryland USA.

High Priestexx is a dance artist working through performance as an autobigoraphical dream. Their practice is informed by the ritualising of their lived experiences, the decriminalization (of peoples, gathering, sex work) and queer cultural identity. Their work incorporates contemporary dance, erotic performance, pole dance, ritual, installation, costume and text. They have performed and facilitated creative events at Ovalhouse, The Barbican, Ugly Duck and Camden Roundhouse, Camden People’s Theatre, Electrowerks, Vault Festival, The Place and Assembly Festival at Edinburgh Fringe. Under the stage name Heaven, they’ve worked at Sex Worker Pride (Sexquitsite Events), The Windmill, Queer House Party (Sex and Rage) and Fantasy Lounge Cardiff.

Karma is a pole artist whose ethereal and seductive performances tell a story of self-discovery. Growing up in Réunion Island, Karma faced the weight of colonial legacies and societal expectations. Through pole dance, he reclaims his body, embraces his femininity, and celebrates his queerness, offering audiences profound narratives of liberation and resilience.

Ella Mitchelle  she/they @ella_ava_cruz


Ella is a Filipina transwoman performer, pole teacher, s33>< worker & event producer. She founded Pole Dolls London, a nonprofit community running pay-what-you-can pole classes for transwomen & transfemmes. She has performed at Blackstage, Europe’s biggest pole show. She also performed for Pxssy Palace, Glastonbury Festival and other iconic London queer nights.

Alizée Ndiaye  she/they


Alizée, a Multidisciplinary Creative/ Culture Curator  from France, shifted from social work to London's creative scene in 2019. She founded Don't Touch My Heritage (DTMH) to uplift black and brown artists. Co-directing The Palace Of The Dogs since 2022, she focuses on costume/set design and Art curation. Her works focus  on decolonization and positive storytelling, aiming for equity.

Kobi Essah Ayensuo  they/them

Kobi Essah Ayensuo is a poet, musician, playwright, mover and creative of many hats based in London. Their work often explores their black queer, trans identity and coming of age, black queer ancestry, their Ghanaian heritage; navigating relationships and reimagining/decolonising the lens with which black history, black present and black future is told. 

 

Musically, their sound can be described as soulful, alternative and harmonic. Kobi’s work is also a reminder that growing into our skin happens when we listen in to our spirit and look to the ones who came before us. Their work often is soundtracked with vocals, harmonic soundscapes and music - which interweaves with several art forms such as poetry and theatre. 

 

Kobi Essah Ayensuo has been published with Ink Sweat and Tears, South London Gallery, Flipped Eye and Marques Almeida for London Fashion Week 2020. They have performed their work at several venues and festivals across the UK such as Brainchild Festival, Wilderness Festival, Mighty Hoopla Festival, the Roundhouse, the Barbican, Disturbance at Ugly Duck and the Southbank Centre. 

 

They are also a BBC Words First finalist and an alumnus of Barbican Young Poets, The Writing Room, the Roundhouse Resident Artist programme, Soho Writers Lab 23/24 and the Obsidian Foundation. Most recently they debuted their Live Art performance ‘In Honour of My Body Spirit and Of Worlds to Come’ which received a standing ovation at Disturbance, at Ugly Duck. At present, they are working on their debut EP.

Chloe Filani is an artist, performer, poet and writer working with and in her lived experiences as a black trans woman of Nigerian Heritage Yoruba and Eshan. Examining the broader themes of identity and power structures, Filani’s work is about going on artistic journeys, be it solo or in collaboration with play, movement, expression of her voice and using her body to communicate the artistic self.

An award winning queer performance artist, drag performer, cabaret producer and burlesque artist who has been making waves in London's vibrant arts scene for the past 8 years. Rhys Pieces uses their art to explore issues of gender, sexuality, identity and race, creating work that is both political and fun. You're going to want a Piece of Rhys!

Danielle James  she/her @d.aniellejames

Danielle James is an award winning Irish performer, theatre-maker, and writer based in London. She writes mostly for theatre, but is also a screen-writer and a writer of poetry and prose. She’s dead keen on words basically. Her work for theatre has been compared to Sarah Kane and Anthony Neilson (which she is equally delighted and terrified about), and has been described by critics as “exquisitely written”, “bold and passionate”, and “triumphant”. She is currently developing new writing with the Royal Court Theatre and has been funded by the Arts Council of England to make a piece of theatre with her mother.

The Shop for Mortals and All Fools is a site-responsive and immersive physical theatre experience conceived by Vinicius Salles. Inspired by Euripides’ The Bacchae, this bold production delves into one of the greatest tragedies ever written, weaving an original and compelling narrative that explores power, vengeance, and the fragility of the human spirit.The full production is in situ at Stanley Arts throughout February but you can experience a flavour of the full work during Collide!
